Handbuilt from locally sourced semi-porcelain clay,
This pot was handbuilt on a wheel using techniques including coiling. The clay surface was expressively painted with wax to resist the blue glaze, revealing the natural clay colour beneath when the wax is burned away in the kiln. It was glazed again for a smooth and glassy finish with an eco conscious glaze. This pot was fired for approximately 48hrs in an eco kiln. This slow but beautiful process ensures every piece is unique.
Measures: Approx 16.5cm w x 11cm h.
Weighs: 1.6kg
Signed by hand underneath. Your Wild Blue pot will arrive beautifully wrapped with a handwritten card telling you of its inspiration and creative journey. This card is also a certificate of authenticity.
